About

I have always been creative minded and got into Web design at the age of twelve and learned everything I could by stealing and modifying HTML from other sites. High School gave me some computer classes and required me to make a site, but didn’t teach me anything new. I still learn by hack and modify, but have upgraded to CSS and PHP and can write a design from scratch.
Photoshop is a blast and my Wacom Tablet lets me do things that I couldn’t otherwise. I love tossing together a basic web design here before trying to code it so I have an actual picture outside of my head. I also love making Icons and Avatars when I can find the time.
Photography is a passion of mine as well – I have pictures from when I stole my mothers camera at a young age. Classes in Middle School cemented that love with knowledge. I took pictures for my High School newspaper and yearbook.
Last Year I tried my hand at scrapbooking. As a guy this is generally looked upon as a weird hobby. I do enjoy it, as it allows me to be creative and produce something physical with my hands. It provides a different sort of creative satisfaction. As a newcomer to the hobby and one of the small percentage who is male, I feel like I look at it differently and my pages often have a more haphazard look. I tend not to think about storage when putting a page together and end up with layouts that are too three dimensional to fit into a page protector.
