PoetsWorld.net

Posted by danielefton on January 31, 2008

My Personal Web Site. Currently on Version 4.5. I need variation in my life so this one gets updating at least twice a year. This site was my first, and is to this day how I learn most of my coding. Most of my new skills get implemented here first. This is done to ensure that they are correct so that I do not mess up anyone else’s sites.

Site implements php, css, and javascript. Designed for visitors with an 800×600 Screen Resolution.

Site not online, domain name lapsed and no longer used.

Bristow Elementary

Posted by danielefton on January 31, 2008

Pro Bono project for a local Elementary School. This project happened almost by accident. As of this update, I still need to confirm school colors, mascot, student body size and a few more details. The design has been roughed out, colors may need to be fixed. The home page is finished, but the bulk of the site needs to be done.

In 2005 I offered my services to update the School’s website. Unfortunately I never heard back from the school and I allowed this project to stagnate. They appear to have a new design.

Site design and concept never implemented. Visit the Current Bristow Elementary Home Page

The Outlet Alliance

Posted by danielefton on January 31, 2008

The Outlet Alliance is a Student Organization at WKU. I started work on their webpage in 2004 shortly after officer positions changed. The Faculty Advisor was building the web pages with help from members of the organization. I stepped up to become the Social Coordinator for the Outlet Alliance and offered my help with the website. It has gone through major changes in the past year, and serves the organization well.

Site implements php, and css. Designed for visitors with an 800×600 Screen Resolution.

Still In Use, no longer self-managed. Visit The Outlet Alliance Page

The Outlet

Posted by danielefton on January 31, 2008

The Outlet is a Resource Center serving the students of Western Kentucky University and the residents of the Bowling Green Community. I joined the center as a volunteer in its first year, and it changed my life. I wanted to change the look of their site and put some work into that as well as getting the site server space with the school.
The Outlet’s Website has changed as many times as the Center itself.

Site implements php, and css. Designed for visitors with an 800×600 Screen Resolution.

Still In Use, no longer self-managed. Visit The Outlet Page

GLBTQ @ WKU

Posted by danielefton on January 31, 2008

glbtqGLBTQ @ WKU

A portal page for the GLBTQ community of Western Kentucky University. When more than one organization needed websites, and both organizations served the same community, I decided that a portal page would be perfect to hold shared information and to provide links to the individual organizations.
Site implements php, and css. Designed for visitors with an 800×600 Screen Resolution.

Still In Use, no longer self-managed. Visit the GLBTQ Portal
